Bengals to Cover – Fade the Jags

It’s only 3 weeks into the season and we can easily see these are two teams heading in different directions.

The Bengals have been playing well. Ja’Marr Chase has clearly improved the offense. Burrow loves the guy and he’s already one of the top deep threats in the NFL. It’s not just Chase though, the Bengals have good skill position players, especially against a weak unit like the Jags defense.

Jacksonville has been terrible. The coaching staff is rumored to be in turmoil. Lawrence and Meyer face their first Thursday night game – on the road.

I’ve been relying on the Jags fade in the weekly newsletter… Sometimes just take what they are giving you. Don’t overthink the situation and pass on a good betting opportunity.

Look… 7½ is always a problematic line to bet against. But… I’m going to continue betting against Jacksonville until they show signs of competitiveness… or the betting public catches on until the oddsmakers have to set bigger spreads.

Cincinnati -7 ½ is my favorite Teaser opportunity of the week. Teasing the Bengals to -1½ crosses both 3 and 7, which are the two most important numbers in NFL Betting. Use the Bengals as the the first leg of any teaser with the following teams Titans -1 ½, Vikings +8, Colts +7½, Saints -2, Ravens +7½.
